Nothing like exploring a national forest and experiencing the noise and smell of dirt bikes. Great way to show appreciation for the natural world.

Not much experience with this place yet but I'm looking forward to it in the not too distant future. Fees are very reasonable (all they're asking for is $5 per day per rider) and for the hugely beneficial causes of saving and maintaining our forests while we reap the benefits and enjoying them. They have a couple of decent offloading ramps for the toys, nice campgrounds and what appear to be pretty lengthy loops to ride. While exploring and driving the dirt roads, I saw some large hawks, an owl and a huge gray heron (I think). Pretty sure it had a wingspan of 8 to 10 ft. Of course it's sandy and susceptible to closures due to the fact it's surrounded by marshland which is directly affected by tide and weather so I would suggest being mindful and check ahead. Come out and camp, play, ride, throw frisbee, tell ghost stories, have some fun and be respectful of nature by leaving it better than you found it.

This trail has exceeded my expectations. This is my first time here and I read good reviews but didn’t really know what to expect. The trails are clean and well groomed, there are decent burms on most turns and it’s very technical but simple to ride if you slow down (great for experienced or beginners). The fee is $5 but we’ll worth it. The north loop is lots of twists and turns with 3-4 straights with some little uneven whoops. I’m used to riding tracks and open desert so I’m going much slower to avoid the trees. I will be returning.

I mean hey it's a place to ride.. yes very sandy and sloppy. Had a hard time on our 450 dual sports. Was quite challenging with the soft sand but fun! Def ride there again.. sadly no wheres near enough places to ride that I know of.. need to change that..

Maybe on the practice tracks. If they are 250cc and up quads, take the trails.
Either $5 dollars a day to ride or buy the season pass for $25 I believe
They say it's $5.00 but didn't see anyone paying. I just showed up.
yes it's a honor system plz sign in when you get there
I've never seen any there. I think there is a 51 inch wide limit.
50 "wide maximum, no jeeps or Hummers, strictly cycles and atv
No they don't.
Probably when it's not too wet or raining.
Don't think you can ride mountain bikes here, the sand is too deep.
For children 16 and under, helmets and eye protection are required per Chandler's Law. Although not required for adults, very highly recommended as trees closely line the trails.
