Honestly, I am shocked there are not more complaints about this place as it was honestly one of the worst experiences my family has ever had. The nurses were all from agencies and the level of care was next to none. Not once did a member of the facility contact us outside of when he first came in and that was for paperwork. I wouldn’t wish this facility for short term rehab on anyone. I could go on and on about this place. Just don’t send your loved one there if you want them to get better. They will surely get worse. And yes I have photos and logs and I was on the visitor check in list.

Absolutely horrendous care. The only reason I gave them one star is the fact that he was still alive when he left. Filthy rooms. Left patients to sit in their own urine and feces for hours. Never gave my dad a shower in the 10 days he was there. Let him sit in his wheelchair for six hours, after he asked to be help to bed (two different days this happened). The nurse pointed fingers at physical therapy and visa versa. Staff put other staff members down to patients. No accountability. Classified as elder abuse. I will be reporting them to every agency I can find.

Step mom lives here. She's not always the happiest with how things are done. She mentions that they are short staffed all the time.

Just had my Aunt taken to the hospital for stage 3 bedsores after leaving Pomeroy. No antibiotics or pain meds were administered at this facility at anytime for treatment. Very sad to see our elderly people being treated so horribly to lay in feces and urine all day. Definitely will be contacting the state.
