Love this lake and the beach/park! Very long Beach so there is tons of room (both sun and shaded), it actually expanded this year (the fishing pier was moved away from the swimming area). There's also a big playground, walking trails, and picnic area with grills near the beach. Highly recommend, we even drive out of our way to go to this beach (30 mins from our house). It is definitely getting busier with St Michael expanding with new development but still a lovely park. The lake is beautiful as well and great for boat and ice fishing.

Absolutely beautiful little area, beach was very nice with firm sand and perfect water temp. My two year old approves, wish my husband was able to catch some fish though! We spent maybe an hour and a half here but should have spent more! Love the tiny rocks on the beach as well. We’ll be coming back- well worth the drive for us. Great place to bring kids!

Best lake in the area! Great place for family fun and or adult fun. This year there are under age girls wearing thong swimming suits like they are on Miami Beach. So, if that bothers you...might want to choose a different spot.
