Nearly two years post op, we continue to fight with both insurance and specifically the Short Hills Surgery Center on their pricing policies. If my wife’s endoscopy had been performed at a Hospital, the pricing for the endoscopy would have been roughly 1/3 of what was charged. Be warned, there are hidden costs all over the place with these procedures, and despite amazing surgeons, and good outcomes, these hidden charges and costs can be crippling, especially when you are unprepared. Those of us requiring this procedure are vulnerable. The shameless tactics leveraged by this facility, boarder on criminal. Buyer beware.

I had a recent death in the family and couldn’t make an appointment. I was taking saxenda and had great results after rescheduling and explaining I was going to run out of the medication I was told they don’t refill prescription over the phone and I would just have to start over if I missed 3 days of taking the shot …I don’t recommend at all.

Going to NJ Bariatrics was the best thing I ever did. The entire staff is great. I highly recommend them. They have definitely changed my life for the better and healthier.

Just going to keep this simple and short, read the fine print keep clear communication with the office. If you can move on and don't do business with this center, was led on for 3 months to find out that my insurance was never going to cover a surgery because they are not a center of excellence which now makes clear sense.

but is different prices because is different pressure
If your insurance covers the surgery, they'll rush you through the process. If your insurance doesn't, you'll be lucky if they return your calls. They're all about the surgery and getting paid and not into considering alternatives.
I'm not sure, but you should probably call their offices
