Great location! We pulled in on a first come basis. We scored what I think was the best site - right on the river! Great place for awesome hikes and bike riding. Just hanging out by the river was wonderful also!

This place surpassed all my expectations. While visiting in early June, the creeks were all rushing with running water that gave me a soothing feeling and drowned out any sounds of nearby neighbors. There was still snow on the top of the mountains melting. The campsite and bathroom were clean and nice. The campsite host answered all my questions about the area, and recommended trails. I did not see a single piece of trash while visiting. I highly recommend site number 31 for it's proximity to the creek. I did not get any bug bites. The canyon was beautiful day and night.

Great campground with spectacular views on National Park level of quality. Such a surprise we have something this great so close to Elko. Unfortunately, Elko yokels seem to think it's okay to leave their trash in the fire rings (the same can be said for over at the campsites at South Fork unfortunately too).

This was one of my favorite campgrounds of the dozen and a half we stayed at in the last 2 months. This place has no hookups, but they had potable water and bathrooms (no showers). The creek was adorable and my boys had a great time swimming and playing in it. The best part is how quiet and clean it was. For the most part, the people staying there maintained their areas and respected the surrounding natural area. We walked up the trail that’s located at this campground and it was absolutely, breathtakingly gorgeous. I took pictures with my canon camera so I wasn’t able to upload the pictures from our hike, but trust me, it was worth the climb. I would recommend this place to anyone with a medium to small sized camper or RV or anyone tent camping. The attendant/camp host was extremely nice and helpful. It’s also a great place to hike.

We filled up before, they did have hand wash water valves near the vault toilets, though you were not able to hook a hose to them. Have a great trip
I don't think there are specific tent areas at each campsite but I did see some tents here and there throughout the campground. Worst case scenario if there wasn't enough room near the table you could put up a tent where a trailer would go.
Select campsites are first come, first serve. Others are booked through recreation.gov
