I called and made an appointment on a Saturday for hair and makeup. Was told a $50 deposit was required and was asked to send through Zelle. I did. I was told I would receive a confirmation text and I never did. I called them later in the day to confirm the deposit was received. They confirmed. Unfortunately, I had to cancel and called them Tuesday (they are closed Mondays). Was asked to come into the salon to get the deposit, told them I could not because I was at work and would not make it on time. I was then told that they would zelle it to me. I never received the money, so I called Wednesday. Was told the owner Mari was not in and provided with her number to send her a text. No response. I called the salon Thursday, was told to text Mari again, no response. Friday, I got fed up. Called my bank and informed Mari via text that I would be calling my bank and never planned to frequent her business again. Low and behold she replied and claimed deposit is non refundable. Even though this was never verbally stated and the salon does not have a website where this is posted in writing. She finally returned my money. Sadly for her it was after I filed a complaint for fraud with my bank. Do not plan to ever use their services.

So happy to finally have found a nice decent barbershop where the guys are actually respectful and treat you like a customer. Nothing compared to other barbershops where you walk in and the 🌱 smell hits you in the face and no one even acknowledges you, I was so fed up with those places so just glad to finally have found a real barbershop like Studio 29
