Top to bottom, the menu is delicious. Everything we order every time comes fresh, is presented beautifully and tastes amazing. This is a quality restaurant. Highly recommend the Pombazzo and the Flautas.

El Carrito’s tacos are simply outstanding. Its meat tacos have strong smoky aroma even before you take a bite and shrimp tacos are very fresh. In a neighborhood where there aren’t too many Mexican food options, this is an excellent spot. Not the easiest parking lot since you can only enter from northbound Lincoln Ave immediately after the light on Peterson. But it’s worth the inconvenience.

I tried to go to El Carrito last Friday, 9th Sept. 2023 at 1:30 PM. They must have closed indefinitely. Too bad.

However, lunch specials can be ordered for delivery by calling in and we are also working on our own ordering platform and app that will have our full menu.
