We sell door gaskets. Door pins would need to be ordered from the manufacturers. If it’s a manufacture we carry and pins are still being made, we can get them. Parts like these are often unavailable.

Well Costco does carry electric fireplace in really good price.

Karen, This is a common question. Open fireplaces are designed to be used with the doors open. This is the case when using wood or gas as fuel. Typical glass doors are made of tempered glass which cannot withstand high heat over long periods of time. The glass can only expand and contract during heating and cooling so long before it become brittle and breaks. If a fire is small, many people do close the doors at least partially with very little danger of them breaking. Fireplace doors can also be purchased with pyroceramic glass (much like Pyrex cookware) that will allow for full door closure. The most effective method of increasing safety while burning is to close the mesh screen or put a free standing screen in front of the fire while it is going. Sincerely, Mitch
