The Energy Assistance Toll Free # is 1-877-411-9276 The only LIHEP office that I know of that is still open is the address given above. 4477 South Archer Ave Chicago, IL. 60632 1-800-571-2332 This is Brighton Park. I need to say this. This is a perfect example of why voting Democratic in Illinois is vital! Govenor Rauner shut down the LIHEP program as fast as he got in office. He couldn't do that because the money for this program does not belong to the state of Illinois. The only thing that the state owns is the computers that are used to process the money to ComEd. Most of the workers are volunteers. So Rauner finds out he can't keep the money it's not the states. But the computers are. So Rauner instead of giving each office access to all comp they have, he only gave them ONE password each. These were Sr. And disabled people at least 75. The office had to turn the rest away. I went with the group to Springfield to protest. This was done just to be mean ! VOTE BLUE!
