My phone wouldn't charge. We were so fortunate to have Dereck Torres help us! Friendly, patient, knowledgeable and so good at what he does! An exceptional asset to AT&T. Ended up with a new phone and am so pleased. 😀 UPDATE: It turned out that I was taken advantage of and sold a plan that was all wrong! My bill skyrocketed and it took over 1 hour on the phone with AT&T to reverse what Dereck had done and get me into a proper plan.

It was very aggravating that they 1 - had very little stock, and absolutely nothing under $500 when we only wanted a basic phone 2 - they refused to sell us a phone outright. We had to finance it. That's ridiculous. If I want to pay today then let me pay today. 3. Activation fee. I'm not even sure if that is legal. There is no activation, none. I buy the phone and put my old Sim card in it. But still you charged $30 for an imaginary service that you never provided. Everything about this sucked. It was sleazy and difficult for no reason at all. The sales person was cool and did his best, but the company rules and procedures are the worst.

A friend and I went to AT&T at 421 Grove Street, Worcester this week for phone assistance and were helped by a professional, kind person who was extremely patient and very well versed on our old phone. He extended the assistance beyond our requests so we learned quite a lot.

Our sales associate was helpful, attentive, knowledgeable, understanding and kind. He approached us right away and asked how he could help us. We asked about lowering our bill and problems with our phones. He helped us to lower our bill and instead of trying to sell us a new phone, he told us to go on asurion and put in a claim to get an upgraded version of iPhones after we had told him that we were happy with our phones but needed them fixed or new ones. We were not in there long and the sales associate even apologized for how slow the ipad he was using was. The place smelled and looked clean. All 3 staff there were attentive, understanding, knowledgeable, helpful, working with a customer, were professional and dressed professionally. Overall it was a good experience there. 8/29/20 around 2pm.
