Super cute place. Tons of selection. Very nice staff. They gave our adopted kitties some meds for free after we adopted from PetSmart. Would definitely recommend. We will be back!

Despite what some people are saying; I had a great experience when adopting from them. They were helpful, insightful and KIND. We adopted back in January and our dog is the absolute best. Thank you for all you do. You guys are great.

The surrender fee is $60 per animal. However, call or email to find out if there is space available for your animal(s) first.
Hi Ruby! We frequently do adoption specials and we typically announce our specials through Facebook. Please feel free to visit our Facebook to see when we have our adoption specials. Thank you!
It really depends. Valley Animal Haven is indeed a no-kill shelter. However, they are overcrowded with cats at this time. Since it is a no-kill shelter, there are many kittens looking for their forever home. Everything is a case by case basis, so the best thing to do is give them a call and see how they can help.
We are completely full and not accepting dogs at this time.
The shelter doesnt offer pet sitting. Please check with AJ Country Care Kennels.
yup good food
All of our adoptable animals cam be viewed on PetFinder, AdoptAPet, and our website (valleyanimalhaven.org)
We have shepherd mix puppies and two adult huskies (no husky puppies at this time). You are welcome to visit our shelter during kennel hours of 11am-4:30pm Thurs-Sun. Please note that we do not allow our medium/large breed dogs to reside in an apartment and require that they have a house with a fully fenced backyard to allow for adequate and safe exercise. Thank you.
They have seniors, adults but I believe you have to go in and find the right fur baby for you
We moving from ms. To hanford ms. Its a 30 hour drive to a house with 4 little dogs. I'm afraid if she gets agrassive that I wont beable keep her. She needs training. We need help. I dont want to surrender her
Call the phone number posted. Leave a message.
Are you accepting baby kittens? We have a stray cat that showed up and had kittens on the side of our house
Just give them a call. Every animals intake date is documented in their files
Hello Amanda, Thank you for reaching out to our organization regarding your dog. We accept owner-surrendered animals on a case-by-case basis. Please visit valleyanimalhaven.org and visit our Surrendering an Animal page for information on how to make a request to surrender your animal. Thank you!
Yes, we accept volunteers from 8am-11am and 3pm-5pm Thurs-Sun. Hours can be used for community service graduation requirements.
Valley Animal Haven is currently at maximum capacity on cats and kittens and do not expect to be able to take anymore for at least another 2-3 months.
Hello Cassidy, Kitten Season has started and we are at double capacity for kittens under the age of 6 weeks old. We have about 70 kittens that are placed in foster homes across the community. Unfortunately, we cannot accept the kittens at this time. You may want to reach out to other facilities to verify if they have room at their shelter at this time. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
Yes it would. It will let you know how it would be to work as vet.
Yes they can if parents approve and discuss with their coordinator.
As far as I know, they don't destroy any of the animals that they get. I took 3 feral kittens there and they said they would find good homes for them
Give Pam a calk they are open on Wednesday thru Sunday I believe and see what they might be able to do
