The surgery went fine but otherwise the care was less then satisfactory. One staff member refused to wear a mask, (housekeeping.) There was no attempt to manage my husband’s blood sugar. He was not given any food in the E.R. His blood sugar was only checked when we insisted or he did it himself. The D.O was not familiar with an insulin pump and at first refused to let him use it. The bedside manner of the doctors was offensive. He waited hours to be assisted out of the bed for the first time following a total hip replacement. The nurses were obviously overworked but attentive when they were with him. The muses sides were very kind and efficient. Overall the experience was quite poor. I would be happy to discuss more specific concerns with an administrator.

First of all I was there for two days ! My bed never got changed . I never received any toiletries ! I had no face cloths or even towels ! The room was so hot had to speak to a housekeeper to get maintenance to at least shut the heat down ! If I ever end up going to the hospital again I will definitely not go here ! The doctors abs nurses were great ! No person should be lying in there own sweat for two days ! I couldn’t wait to get out of there to get least take a shower . The food was ok !

From the time I arrived at Admissions until I walked out the door after my testing was done, every staff person I encountered was thoroughly professional and very compassionate. The test I had, by its nature, was unpleasant. The technician explained the test before proceeding and did everything possible to make me as comfortable as possible and to get it over with as quickly as possible. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I had shoulder surgery at Roger Williams Hospital, every bit of it was a great experience. The staff was amazing, my Dr. of course is the best, lol. The rooms were spotless. I couldn't of had a better experience. Definitely would go back there for all my medical experiences.
