My podiatrist referred me to LaRocca Shoes. I have been suffering from a slightly deformed right foot in which at mid point there is a damaged tendon that's protruding outward by about a half inch. Every time I walked, there was a slight, but noticeable degree of pain. After visiting this store, and after working with Elliott (the owner's father in law) my pain not only began to subside (while wearing my new New Balance air cushioned sneakers), but even after wearing these at home for an entire day, my foot pain from walking on my tile floors was almost completely gone. If Google decided to raise their rating system from a 5 star to a 10 star rating, I'd definitely give this store the highest rating. Not only did the staff ask the right questions, and find me the PERFECT shoe for my feet, but even their prices were in fact cheaper than some of the more discount sources such as Walmart or Amazon, etc. This IS the best place to acquire footwear if you're afflicted with diabetes or damaged feet. My only regret is that I should have gone there sooner and not wasted my money on a walker which I occasionally had to use. This is the ultimate orthopedic shoe store and clinic.

My history with the LaRocca family goes all the way back to the 1960s when the LaRoccas owned a Florsheim shoe store in Caldwell, NJ. When I discovered this store and was able to buy my diabetic shoes and custom orthotics right here in Boynton Beach from the next generation of LaRoccas, I was thrilled. After three years of outstanding personal service and a great selection of shoes and sneakers, I am happy to say I will be back again this month for my fourth year.
