The attitude of front desk staff seems to totally contradict planned parenthood’s advertising and public campaigns that project an image of caring and nonjudgmental treatment. I called them today, and after saying “thank you very much” the person on the other side of the phone hung up with no response. It reminded me that the last time I went to this location, I felt a lot of shame in the waiting room, largely due to the way I was treated by staff. It’s a shame because folks who are low income or don’t have insurance rely on places like this to receive really important care.

I wish they could do a bit more on the spot or same day care. I was super embarrassed about a problem I was experiencing, and my OB couldn’t see me as soon as I was wanting. They wanted me to come back and schedule an appointment, which happened to be booked months out. I was able to find another OB at another gynecology clinic who could get me in sooner, but that OB left me feeling even more demoralized.

I went in today thinking I had an appointment for an IUD. My email CONFIRMED I had an appointment for 2:45. I signed in and waited patiently like everyone else. 3:30 rolls around I'm seeing that people that were there before me were being seen. I ask the lady at the counter how long the wait would be. She said she has me in for 4:45. I show her my confirmation email and she barely even acknowledges it and says I have to reschedule or wait. I have work at 4. No "sorry for the inconvenience." Silence. What a waste of time and energy. I understand that it's a tough time right now for women everywhere but the least staff can do was acknowledge the mistake.

I was on the phone & at the end of the call I said “awesome thank you.” And she just hung up without saying anything… hahaha not very good customer service.

You’d be looking at about $130. They do have discounts available based on a sliding scale and you can go in and get a price quote at anytime
I think you can. I don't know what the test is, though.
Please reconsider if you're ready to be intimate with someone until you're able to research the state laws or call the location directly.
They base how much they charge you on your own personal income. Since they've recently lost some of their funding, they can't offer things for free anymore so you will have to pay something. I can't give you an exact answer, so it would be best to call and ask. See if they'll give you an idea of pricing. For example, I got a prescription renewal checkup and picked up three packs of pills, it was $40 total.
The clinics are open on New Year's Eve. It's probably normal business hours but maybe plan on being there before 5p just in case.
they do offer some general medical services! i know for sure you can get certain vaccines and a sports/school/work physical
Yes but if you want like a pelvic exam you need an appointment.
