I’ve tried contacting the manager for over a month, no return call ever! I had to call multiple times and finally caught him, Sean says it can not be their fault that I’ve lost or misplaced my own shirts! As I’m explaining to him that I have someone else’s shirt in my order, he says they have the best system in the county for keeping control of the clients laundry inventory. They have lost at least 5 shirts and damaged multiple others. With no offer to help, but only wanting me to return the shirt that belongs to another client, I say beware!!!! They’ve lost a valuable and loyal customer for life.

Called office to get pick up on Tuesday I was informed it would be picked up on Thursday, I called Thursday to remind them of the pick up and was told they would I called again at 3:00 pm Thursday that items were still outside cottage and was told they would call driver. On Friday I called that the items were still outside cottage and was told that she would confirme about items not being picked up I said they are still here they just need to be picked up. She said I can only let them know but can’t make her go pick them up. In which case I said I’ll take them to you what’s your address!

They do a good job mostly. One experience where an item I dropped off for alterations wasn’t touched. I only noticed after I brought the item home, but they corrected the situation quickly as soon as I brought it to their attention.

Hello and thanks for thinking of Ablitt's. We only alter a couple of wedding gowns a year, typically for current clients. We have limited this service because we only had one tailor and did not have the adequate time to preform the alterations. We now have 2 full time tailors and can accomodate brides. The cost depends on what you want to have done, and is normally charged based on an hourly rate of $80/hour. Maribel is our wedding gown specialist and has been working on gowns at Ablitt's for over 10 years. She is in Monday - Friday 8am - 3pm. Because of the added work in brining in your gown, I recommend that you call ahead to be sure she is there before you head down. There are sick days, vacations, etc. Thanks again and good luck!

We can't guarantee prices unless we see the clothes because of the huge variation in materials, ornaments, construction, etc. That said, a 100% cotton mans shirt, machine finish is about $4 and a pair of pant is about $10. So an estimate of $23 would be reasonable. Hand ironed shirts are about $10 each. So if they are not the button up cotton shirts, $43 may be a closer estimate
Cotton duvets are between $20 and $27. The higher price is for duvets with zippers. The zippers tend to break or melt when pressed by machine and so require more hand finishing. DryClean only duvets, wool, silk, etc cost $40-45.
Yes, we currently have one full service Tailor, and several people that can do minor alterations and repairs. No apt necessary, however she is in between 9am and 3pm Monday - Friday.
