Our initial reception at the hotel was decent. They seemed to be having issues with placing others in their room but that did not affect us. The rooms were clean and in order when we arrived. All facilities and appliances seemed to work in the room. That is where the good news ends. We were harassed by the assistant general manager Natasha Ovies, about things that didn't even involve us. We were told that they don't offer cutlery at the hotel which is absolutely not what it says on the website or the brochure they gave us with the key cards. They were out of pillows and blankets when we needed them. All that above would have been fine, but then the the assistant general manager was rude and disrespectful towards my deaf wife, while she was in the main lobby, and showed a complete lack of professionalism. We also didn't receive the discount that was supposed to be applied to our receipt due to being ordered to be here by the military. In fact, we got charged over double the amount that was shown online. I'll definitely be speaking to someone in regards to this. As far as I know, price gouging during a natural disaster is illegal. Overall, what started out as an average experience quickly became poor and untenable.

Rooms are clean and have enough space, which is all that matters for a quick stop. But half of the personnel don't speak English (not a problem unless you need informations) and the "included breakfast" is a joke. There was nothing to drink other than coffee, not even water! Location is near the airport, which is convenient, but doesn't feel that safe.

If you are coming to Miami and need accommodation close to the airport, this is a good option. Clean and tidy. Their handling is excellent and fast. Quiet area, near by grocery store. I can go for a walk. The purpose of my visit was to rest for a day and then set off to look for accommodation.
