Almost 100% of US pork is raised in nasty, abusive, disgusting factory farms. Your best bet for humane, pasture pork is Canadian pork, like DuBreton, or grocery brands that source from Canada. Another alternative is Pederson's (US, TX) who have committed to some humane standards. Also look to local farmers who raise woodlot pigs. US factory farm pork production is the worst and most disgusting out of all the staple animals eaten in the US. Google "factory farmed pork" and you'll have your answer. There is a Julian date and for example today is 11/10/18 the Julian date for today is 3148. Reason is because today is the 314th day of 2018 so you use 314 an the 8 for 2018 11/12 will be 3168. Hope this helps
