I have never written a negative review before but here goes..... We have stayed at this place while doing the Little Falls Arts and Crafts festival for the past three years. The first two years were fine, nothing special - beds just OK, pillows flat - but we aren't looking for much when we are just working and coming back to sleep for the night. This time we booked two rooms for My wife and I, our son and his wife, and our two teenage kids. We wanted two doubles in each room but they only had one with two beds but decided we could make that work as we spoke with the person on the phone. When my wife went to check in he told us we needed three rooms and not having any other options as the all the other hotels were booked (that should've been a signal - LOL) she obliged, not knowing what else to do or anything about my conversation with the person who booked the rooms (apparently he wasn't full and decided he wanted more money). Anyway, I spoke to him briefly about it that night and he said he wouldn't "Cram all those people into two rooms." Six people in two rooms has never been an issue at any hotel I have ever stayed at. But we needed a place to stay - so what do you do. The highlight though was while we were at the show he turned off the refrigerator with our food in it - very tacky. Anyway, all in all it was our worst hotel experience we've had. Usually we find people in the hospitality business to be more hospitable. I spoke with a business owner in town about it and was told that this was not an uncommon experience at the Cliffwood.

I have stayed here twice while working at the hospital in Little Falls and felt very safe and comfortable. Shawn was always accommodating. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean, it is a quiet and off the main hwy into town so it’s super convienent. The room I was in was no smoking. I would highly recommend Clifwood Motel.

Great basic hotel at a great basic price. Staff was friendly and place was quiet. For a smoker like myself it was nice to have outdoor access right outside the door. Oh, and the water pressure in the shower was great!

This stay was the most memorible of our lives. We have been staying at Clifwood for our vacation for the past two years. The service is exceptional and only fools would pass up this budget friendly establishment. The rooms are extremely cozy and clean. The owner is one of the most polite gentleman that I have met and will do anything to make your stay exceptional. Thanks Clifwood see you in the summer!!
