The beds in our room, 220 were so swaybacked, it was like sleeping in a hole. We were going to stay another night, but not in these beds. Pillows were big and hard. We could not get the door to lock when we left the room. Good ice cream in the restaurant.

Had a great family vacation at Big Sandy. Was married here 8 years ago and have come back every year since. The lodge pool is great fun. It was a bummer the hot tub was down but by the last day they had it running which was great. The servers are so nice and so was Anya at the front desk. The place was rented was clean and look freshly painted. Love that you can rent a boat right there and there’s a bar there as well. Thanks Big Sandy. We’ll see you next year.

We came here for a beer and dinner. Small but good selection of beer on tap. I had the broiled walleye with a baked potato. Delicious and filling. Our server was great!

Really liked our room, a restaurant and bar on site. Lakeside view is great to wake up to. Good food from kitchen, although a little too greasy. Pan fried wallet with wild rice pilaf, could be prepared without so much oil. Salads are super good!! Live music on Saturday very fun! Nice beer on tap...Dogfish and Lagunita IPA Wonderful spot to snowmobile from. Especially to the Savanna State Park.

Yes but quite expensive. Look at buying a $100 shelter from Costco if you just want to go fishing and stay in a nice local hotel. You will save $$

Hi Mark, that's a great question. We typically try to keep the Pool at about 85 degrees and the Hot Tub at about 103 degrees, but there are many factors that can alter this a degree or two such as sunny vs cloud cover, if any chemicals or water levels needed to be adjusted that day, etc.
