Great selection and really fantastic service

Very small non-fiction selection. Customer service was sub-par.

Fantastic new/used bookstore with super friendly customer service!

More then just indie, better than just local; Books Connection has earned my business time and time again with great service and competitive pricing. I love being able to pre-order upcoming releases and their system keeps me from accidentally ordering something twice. This is my go-to bookshop.

We have a couple dozen- are there specific titles you want?
Sorry, we don't- we could call you if somebody turns one in (a long shot, but you never know). Just let us know- thanks!
Sorry, only rarely - not enough room.
All we have right now is a new paperback of Mythology by Edith Hamilton ($10 retail, 10% off).
Not too much, I'm afraid. About 20 considered for adults (16 +); includes Attack on Titan, Mission of Love and Vampire Kisses. We also have a few graphic novels/manga for kids, like Trigun, Plants V. Zombies, Big Nate and Pilot and Huxley. Give us a call for more info (I have to leave in a few minutes so I don't know if I can answer any other questions outside of the store tonight, but I can get back to you tomorrow morning if need be!). We can also order them new (assuming they're in stock at the warehouse).
No, I'm sorry, we don't. You might want to check with John King (downtown)- they deal in rare/antique books. I'm not sure if they're open or not, but the phone # is 313-961-0622. Good luck!
Yes, we accept paperback fiction (we just don't sell that many hardcovers). We're just asking people that if they have a ton of books to bring us, they bring 1/2 a ton at a time, since we don't have too much room to store books. Thanks!
Sorry, no. We might be able to order them new, though. Just let us know!
We have a really nice copy of Archaeology: Discovering the World's Secrets by Gaynor Aaltonen, and a decent selection of history books too. We just recently got in a copy of Stuff They Don't Want You To Know: Conspiracy Theories That Won't Go Away by Southerwell and Donald. Hope that helps!
If you call there, they will check to see if those are in stock. Those girls are awesome
Sorry, we don't have that ability. I'm wondering if Back to the Past would be able to help you?
No. You get a bigger discount on used paperbacks if you bring books on but you always pay something. Any other wyueztions, please call us at 734-524-1163 on Wednesday. We are off on holiday.
No, we do not buy books- we offer you a bigger discount on our used paperbacks but you always pay something. We do not give cash out of the drawer.
No, sorry, we don't buy books. We take them in and you get a bigger discount when you buy our used paperbacks. Our suggestion for selling books would be either a garage sale or putting them on the internet. Good luck!
I don't believe so but they're super responsive to phone calls and emails. They can get most anything.
Yes we do! And no, we have not gone out of business. We're still at 5 Mile and Merriman! Hope to see you again soon, Mr. Majewski!
Sorry- this just NOW (April of 2018) showed up in our email. We don't handle book restoration- I think there may be a place in Ann Arbor that handles that, but it's been a while since anyone has asked. We have not gone out of business, we just moved over 2 years ago to 5 Mile and Merriman. Some publishers and writers may not like used bookstores, but we've never been approached or hassled by them to close. We sell new and used, so if we can get you to try an author's used work, there's a good chance you'll buy them new. We're still going strong!
Book connection does order books for people, not sure if they could get that one. Depends on if it's still in print or not.
