Update: They never sent the check….. Went there as a last minute, unplanned adventure. Rented 2 ATV’s. It was my first time riding on sand (most of my experience is with bikes, on desert and jungle terrains.) Although it was kinda pricey, I imagine their operating costs are super high. Ultimately, it was well worth the price! The staff was highly professional. As a injury conscious Registered Nurse, I particularly appreciated how upfront they were in regards to the risks. These risks were elevated on the afternoon we rode, due to the high winds. The whole unexpected cliff drop-off aspect particular to sand dunes kinda freaked me a bit, so it was cool how the staff clearly answered all my questions. On the way out, we somehow didn’t get our $100 deposit back. I called the company the next day. TBH, I was kinda dreading this as some companies can be shady about such things. Not Steve’s! The guy that answered the phone was on top of it! A check was mailed out to the same day. I also want to add that I got great vibes from the entire beach riding community there. They seem to be very friendly and helpful individuals.

Must do when in Pisno Beach. What an experience. The dunes are awesome. From easy to very technical dunes you can choose. As you progress your skillls, the climbs are the best. We booked 2 hours and they basically gave 15 min extra so you are always on time without discussion. People are straight: what you see is what you get, good atv’s, no frills all you need.

We wasted our time here! We traveled from San Francisco and on our way back home, we made this side trip for us to experience this activity. My daughter called to ask about the info and the lady/staff told her that no reservation is needed and they close at 6 p.m. We arrived around 5:30 and their office was closed. We wasted our time and ended up going to Solvang City and the stores were all closed! People do travel miles away just to visit your place so we hope you guys will be responsible enough handling all the phone queries. More power!
