Worst experience ever!

I do not usually write reviews to places I visit, but I felt compelled to have to share my experience. I also never bring race into anything, but I do not know how else to categorize this obvious mistreatment. We are also not a family who complains a lot, as we tried to be very patient.This restaurant serves you the best racism if you are not white. On Sunday 10/09 our (Asian) family went to this place for an early dinner, being the only non-white table, we waited over 40 minutes, for any type of service. We were not even offered any type of water or greetings. During our wait of over 40 minutes, we saw tables around us all get served, and waited, even the ones who came way after us. (We went there at 5, so there was not that many people there) After about 25 minutes of waiting, we tried to flag down one of the servers, before she told us to go sit back down. The other servers we tried to ask for help ignored us, we felt invisible. The couples sitting at the tables next to us even felt upset at this restaurant as they even realized that we were simply being ignored. When we left, they were almost done with dinner, while we did not even have anything to drink; and we arrived at roughly the same time. We tried to talk to a manager, but the best they brought was a bartender who said that the manager was not here, and gave us their business card and told us that if we want, we can try and file a complaint. We were offered no apologies, and they felt almost angry at us for trying to get food after over 40 minutes of nothing. We left at 5:45 with no food, no apologies, no water, but one business card. The tables next us all felt sympathy and apologized to us, giving us better treatment than any of the staff there did.

Beautiful deck on the riverfront and down a quiet side street. Food and drinks always wonderful and staff is great. Love this New Hope gem.
