There is a wonderful mural of manatees, hand-painted on the wall at the dingy dock. The showers are adequate.

Marathon City Marina is a great place with a wonderful staff. It's located smack dab in the middle of the Keys. I've lived here going on 5 years. Boot Key Harbor is the gem of the Keys. Completely protected harbor, and lots of amenities such as shower house, dinghy dock, workshop, community garden, laundry room, parking space for paid customer, and is located directly next to the City Park.

Nice town,one off the bigger towns down in the FL keys.The marina was older looking but looked to be functioning fine.Went to look at moorings and area.Got a real peaceful vibe there.The boats on the bay hooked to the morrings was like a post card picture!Florida seems to be mixed opinions on the subject,but I thought it was 😎!Yes some of the boats were ugly, but most were well kept.I would visit when passing through

Any time, you just have to realize that if you're down here during the season (October-April) you may have to wait for a ball to open up, other than that it's an awesome place to hang out.
It fills up very quickly. It was full when I left a week ago so you might be on the hook for a while.
There's a ramp down the road at 33rd st. They run out of parking sometimes though. City Marina is really set up for the mooring yard in boot key harbor. Mostly sailboats .they have water,laundry, and pump out for waste water. Unless your mooring there it's really not for power boats. There are several outer boat ramps as well Google map them.
I doubt it. Plus, theres no boat ramp. I would call a storage type place. You can cab back to the boat pretty cheaply.
You would be better off to stay away from that marina. Its ran like north Korea

There is minimal dockage at the city marina in marathon after the hurricane. There are 4-5 boats on a minimalist dock, infrount of the office. though as of 6-12-18 they are full. I'm uncertain of the cost, there are currently mooring balls available for roughly 350 a month.
