I love riding along the trail. This pond is a nice little addition on my bike rides between the Frontrunner and my frequent destination in West Haven. It’s neat to see people fishing and using the paved path around the pond to get a little exercise throughout the day. I also appreciate the lift and tools for a little bike maintenance right on the path!

I don’t think you can legally, but that probably wouldn’t stop a lot of people. I know further west you can camp off the trail w/ a permit in designated areas.
There is an asphalt path as well as some dirt paths. Lots of benches too
