The park is ok, you have no access to the water because there are lots of big rocks between the sea side and the sand. The dock is close, I think to see the sunset there lots of places close to the bridges that have a nicer view

Date of visit: Sept 22, 2022 We stopped in to watch the sunset. The park is setup specifically for the purpose of enjoying the sunset. There are benches, a table, a dock. Everything was clean and well kept. Be aware, most parks in this area are only open until dusk. It was a very enjoyable experience and we had a very clear line of sight to watch it. I wish their dock was larger and accommodated more people. This was the most popular area to be on. The water line was nice, but a house adjacent to the park had a deck which partially obstructed the sunset where it was at for the time of year.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy God' creation.

City hall is down the road. I do not believe it is open on the weekend though.
Locals usually get together and sing at sunset if that counts
Dogs are welcome. And food bags are supplied. You have to keep them on the leash though.
About 100 ft from the beach is a sandbar, you can fish off the far side np
