Very bright, friendly library

I enjoy this library and all the programs it offers. However I feel bad for children in poverty who live in places like vineyard or Lindon that do not have access to a library because their parents would have to pay a large fee to be able to use the Orem library. That is not right. It should be free to all the surrounding areas.

Best Library ever! They have the most extensive movie collection. You can rent a movie for a dollar a week. They also have a request system where you can ask them to purchase movies they don't have yet or newer formats like 4K UHD Blu ray for existing movies. So far they've purchased pretty much all of my requests. They also have a great for sale section that gets updated regularly. It's worth paying for a library card if you live nearby but not an orem or Provo resident. Orem and Provo library cards can be used at both libraries.

Ultra modern and totally engaging! An excellent example of what you would expect from a state of the art facility.

It's open now. You can set up an appointment online, they're asking people to use masks and have them available at the desk .
Go to oremlibrary.org then my account then log in with your barcode and pin. If you haven't renewed your books already you can do it.
I don't know why the computers do what they do, I think the time frame is so more people can use them.
Yes, with a library card
If you go online and look it up in the directory there is a request tab
If you're looking to borrow a video, they're available in the online catalog. If you would like to request that the library purchase a video so that you can borrow it, you can fill out the form on the website at https://www.oremlibrary.org/request-for-purchase/
Absolutely. We have a print-only station, which doesn't require a library card, and a computer area, which does require a library card. If you don't have a library card, we will issue you a free guest pass to use the computers for computer use other than printing.
You can see our book club titles on our website at https://www.oremlibrary.org/book-groups/.
We offer online computer courses that are free with a current Orem Public Library card. Call or come in to the library for more details.
