If you aren't using this company for your service and repair needs, you are missing out. The people working there are all great. And I mean great. From the people who staff the phone to the parts person finding and ordering parts, they couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. And when was the last time that the guys doing work on the boat gave you their cell numbers and called to keep you up to date? Many places can get the work done properly – many can’t – few can get it done properly and provide this kind of service. (I’m not new to boating, have been doing it for over 30 years. I don’t write reviews of places that don’t provide excellent service as I’m not convinced that such places care. I do write reviews of places that are outstanding. This is the second review I have written for a shop.)

Shearwater came recommended by a friend who is in the marine industry. I suffered an engine issue on passage from West End on a late Thursday afternoon. 1 mile outside of the St Lucie inlet we suffered a propulsion failure. I made an appointment prior to that failure. Monday morning Bobby was dispatched to my boat. After listening to my description, he went to work. A couple hours later we were up and running. He made a coyote suggestions that we played. The next day he returned and finished the job. Very professional, on time, kept the area clean, and personable. Very satisfied with their service!
