These few reviews must be fake because my experience was nothing to brag about. The place is sketchy, rundown, staff is awkward.. they walked me over to a desk where there were about 15 others with no doors or anything to separate and provide some sense of privacy. she sat down to get testing tubes out of a drawer as I stood there next to her , she explained to me how to use the test right then and there.. No privacy at all , i felt to uncomfortable. I didn’t not feel like I was in the hands of professionals. 2 weeks later had no call with my results so I had to call and ask for them myself. Top it off, it’s supposed to be free and was more expensive than any other health department I’ve been to in the past.

Very nice people. I went in for testing and they called me within the hour with the results and answered all the questions I had. The test was at no cost to me and a everyone was so helpful.

I love going here for testing, everyone is so friendly and nice. Also it’s the best and cheapest place to get a std test.

Questions & Answers

How much is it for HIV testing and do you need an appointment or is it walk in?

It is a walk in on Mondays and Thursdays 5pm-7pm. HIV testing is FREE! All other tests have a fee, but they are cheaper than the Health Department. You do not need insurance here.

I already been tested and was negative last year, but within a year i feel like my appearance gradually changed. Is there a didn't virus with the same symptoms as hiv?

Get tested every 3-6 months, HIV testing is free here and at the health department. Testing every year is generally only reccomended for people who are monogamous or abstinent.

When getting hiv tested do you guys change gloves everytime I got tested yesterday and just want to make sure I was not touched with something that is hiv positive

They change gloves with every client. They maintain high medical hygiene standards. If they didn't we would all be going to the Health Dept or our doctor.

Do you guys give out free condoms?
