We love Dr. Later, Dr. Doug, and Sue Ann! My wife came here as a child and now we take our children here. What a great practice! I love their personal attention and care!

We just recently went here for vaccinations. My kids and I felt very welcomed and comfortable being in this office! The front desk staff was so nice and you can’t say that for a lot of offices. The women that took us back was awesome! She interacted with my children very well! She worked very well with my children as well while they were getting their shots. She asked my daughter what her favorite animals were to take her mind off of the shots and it worked. My son was a whole other story he screamed but he is also high functioning Autistic but the laugh we all had was one for the books! The doctor was so nice! Felt very comfortable with him! He seemed like he actually cared and that is so important! As soon as I got hole I told my husband that this was the office I was taking the kids to from now on. BEST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH A PEDIATRIC OFFICE thank you!

We have seen both Dr. Richard Later and Dr. Doug Later and honestly I only have great things to say. They are both so caring, kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. We saw Dr. Doug with my newborn and he was not only caring and encouraging when it came in his wellbeing, but mine as a recovering mother postpartum as well. They know their stuff and are great with kids. Whenever my toddler was nervous to be at the doctor's, they examined him while I held him in my lap. I highly recommend them!

Normally I love Dr. Doug later but recently he’s gone a lot downhill! He truly took the time with our daughter when she had a unique case but since we had our son and daughter things have drastically changed. The first thing was, I took my oldest for a well visit and during that we had concerns with her mental health. We took the entire visit and focused on her mental health. Everything went well I thought and he felt very concerned and genuine with her mental state. We even talked about a possibility of an emotional support animal and he said he could write up a letter for us. He was supposed to check and get an update on her with her therapist she’s been seeing and he didn’t even talk to her. I had to reach out to her therapist myself. I thought okay maybe he was having a bad day or things have been getting to him lately so I kinda let it slide. I talked with her therapist again and we decided an emotional support animal would be good for her but our landlord needed a doctors note, not a therapist’ note so we called in to Utah valley pediatrics and they said there was not a need for her according to the notes that she even needed an ESA. I was confused so then I check her records from the visit and nowhere in the notes or anywhere even was there a mention of her mental health! We spent the entire visit focusing on her mental health and no where says anything about it! We had a well visit coming up for another child so I figured we would go in ourselves and talk about it personally. At that visit he immediately was like oh did you bring that letter to fill out?! He told his nurses he didn’t even remember her or that he even said he would write a letter or anything. I was getting upset at that point. That he acts like he cares but doesn’t really. At my sons well visit we had concerns with his stomach and he assured us he would send in an ultrasound order just to be safe. Days go by and we don’t hear anything so we call back and an ultrasound order wasn’t even sent in! The nurse says there’s no notes in here for an ultrasound so he didn’t even wrote it in once again! Like I said normally he is an amazing doctor and cares about his patients. As time goes on it’s getting worse and I don’t feel he cares like he used to. It’s all a front.
