I usually renew my vehicle registration at the DMV office in Heber City, Utah. I have done so for many years and find the staff to be, if not always courteous, at least neutral in their behavior. But, they are government employees and so this is not unexpected. However, I recently was in the Heber City DMV and was "serviced" by a younger, heavy set, dark haired woman that was most unhelpful. I felt as if I was a huge inconvenience for her. A minimum of politeness would have been nice. I am 70 years old and a Vietnam Era veteran, I do not expect special treatment; all that enter there should receive a polite greeting and respect. I received neither. Online or a trip to the Park City DMV is in my future. The woman that served me should consider if she is fit for her job, or if she is too lazy to perform it properly. It isn't that hard to be kind and reaps benefits for one's self and others.
