Fairbourne is great! It's not a splash pad, but a long shallow river with boulders of different sizes to climb on. A few bridges over the river. *No dogs allowed near the river*. My 2 and 5 year old played here for 4 hours today! The water is REALLY warm so it's not super refreshing- more like playing in a warm bath on a hot day! But every kid I saw was having a blast, and I loved playing here with my kids. It's beautiful and clean, nice bathrooms and drinking fountains, some shaded tables. No shade over the river. I love that it's shallow and safe and kept my kids entertained for way longer than anticipated. Very diverse and lovely people that come here!

Instead of a splash pad this is a small but really nice river system for the water feature. There are large natural rocks to climb on and the are a few picnic tables with large umbrellas to escape the sun. The best feature- it was nearly empty at 3 pm on a hot Friday afternoon, where many other splash pad are packed full.

it was great. A few picnic tables with shade umbrellas (permanent metal ones) and plenty of lawn provided a nice area.My feelings about the place are neutral. If I could recommend anything, it would be to provide more shady areas. Like much of West Valley City,

For the purpose we came here for, to enjoy a nice afternoon letting kids play in the little river water feature and eat some sack lunch, it was great. A few picnic tables with shade umbrellas (permanent metal ones) and plenty of lawn provided a nice area.
