This was an interesting museum. The docent provided information about the history of glass making in Glassboro and the surrounding area. There were a lot of interesting artifacts on display including many art glass and commemorative pieces.

The website clearly says they’re open Wednesdays from 12 to 3 we drove a long way as a glass artists and enthusiasts and have found it to be closed today on Wednesday. Very disappointing please update the website. August 4th Glassboro NJ

Cool little museum full of lots of glasswork! They’re currently letting only 10 people in at a time and are open the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 11 AM to 2 PM. And it’s free!

There is no glassblowing in the museum, but they have photos, tools and raw materials to help explain and illustrate the process. About a block away in the town square is a sculpture of a glassblower in action, with a glass orb that is illuminated.
Free admission for this terrific little museum. Donations gratefully accepted.
