George, I don't work at Gem I am just a customer of theirs. I do know alot about sports memorabilia,pawn shops ,wholesale and retail sales. First off no way in hell would I sell anything to a pawnshop. Pawnshops give you either a loan or straight up buy what you have to offer. Here's the catch, they first look up the item online and see what that item sells for used. Then they will offer you usually between 15 and 25% of the used price. That's how they turn a profit. Also they will only purchase the items if they are a decent seller. You also will need a certificate of authentication of said item if the item calls for one. Your best bet is to research your helmet online and then if feasible put it up for sale or auction online! I hope this helps you out buddy!!
