Nice secluded place to start a hike on tbe section of the Appalchian trail to High Point. Not overnight parking. The trail from here to High Point is about 6.5 miles. 13+ miles round trip. Took about 6 hours with stop to eat at High Point and a few 5 min breaks. Out on the White and White/Red dot trail and back on the white trail. Very nice hike for the enthusiast. Early November, beautiful sunny day.

Nice lot. Easy to find. No parking from 8 pm to 6 am. Not suitable for overnight use.

Lot is an exaggeration....tiny space on side of the road. I have never seen overnight parkers here, but I have at several other points along the trail.
