We drove all the way from Maryland to visit Hill Farmstead and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Amazing beer, amazing location, amazing staff, amazing everything. The curated bottle experience was incredible. There is nothing like sitting out on the porch of hill farmstead, gazing at the Vermont mountains in the distance, and sipping their delicious beer. My favorite brewery experience to date.

Nice place but you MUST make a reservation if you want to try all of the beers otherwise you are limited to only 3. The 3 are their most common you can get anywhere, you can’t pick any 3. You also get a different glass of you are a part of the reservation crowd. Really strange, never experienced anything like this at any brewery ever. Dog friendly so that’s a plus.

Hill Farmstead brewery is a mecca for beer lovers and I highly recommend making the pilgrimage here. Many beer enthusiasts consider Hill Farmstead to be the best brewery in the world and, after visiting, it would be hard for me to disagree. The location in Greensboro Bend, Vermont is a quiet sanctuary nestled in the mountains and a perfect area for leaf peeping in the fall. The beer varieties are many, so plan on staying a while to taste as many as possible (hopefully you have a dd). And, set aside some cooler space to take some home or to your next New England destination. If you love beer, go here.

I visited a few times before July for pickup only but there was nothing like the experience of enjoying a few pours at the best brewery in the world on the most beautiful property. The olives and Cabot Jasper Hill Clothbound Cheddar ( top 2 in cheeses I've ever tried) were amazing paired with the brews. This place is amazing. Worth the trip! All staff are INCREDIBLE!

Hi Larry, Thanks for checking. We haven't begun opening reservations for November yet. We will probably open those up sometime in early October, so stay tuned to our website and social media channels for announcements. Cheers! Bob
Hi Jeff! Out taproom remains closed, and our license doesn't allow for consumers to have open containers on the property while our onsite operation is still closed. Thanks for checking!
Hi Shannon, We allow friendly, well-behaved dogs to visit us on the brewery grounds and in the bottle shop. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after them. Dogs are not allowed in our tasting room due to food being served in there. Best, Bob
No, we don't allow overnight parking or camping here. Please check out our website for location camping options, though!
Dorothy is not currently available. You can always check their availability on their website. It is updated daily.
The short answer is that the hill farmstead website had an online shop via 2012 , that was discontinued. While there are websites where people will sell them like ebay. The mark-up is very high. So I would avoid it .
You can bring your own food, although the pizza is pretty delicious! There is limited seating but plenty of lawn. We get there early and grab a table inside (and our growler fill #, even if we're not rest for the full, it keeps your place in line.)
I'd call them the day before. Best bet is to get there 30 minutes before they open.
