Bickford of Urbandale

I would never use this senior living facility. Our family has never experienced such poor communication as we have with the management of the Bickford in Urbandale during the care and death of our mother. We were notified of her passing by hospice, but when we attempted to reach the director, none of our phone calls were ever returned. This poor service continued in trying to rectify her final charges. We reached out to the corporate office in Olathe, Kansas. Again, our phone calls were never returned. Apparently this is a common issue as the Bickford corporate website devotes 1/4 of it’s page to “Questions and concerns of families and residents.”

We have been extremely satisfied with the care that Bickford of Urbandale has provided. It is a home atmosphere with a lot of activities for the residents and good communication with the families.

I wouldn't put my dog in there. To much to tell why they are so bad. Nothing but lies were told to us. Please don't put your loved ones in Bickford! If I could give them a zero I would!
