Clean and unexpectedly in the right place. There is a black lab dog there, it lives across the street and doesn't need a home, it knows where to get the most attention, plus it has a collar that says that too. We also saw a really neat moth.

First time travelling through here and the sign for this rest area was a surprise when we saw it. We weren't sure what to expect. However, we were in a commercial vehicle and really needed a place to stop for a break and hadn't seen anyplace we could park til then and we were cutting our time close. This is not a large place but there is ample room for a few trucks to park safely as well as cars. The lot was clean and open in so far as visibility wasn't impeded and even late at night it felt safe walking to the bathroom. The ladies room was clean, warm, well-lit and stocked with toilet paper. Glad we found this place when we did!
