Walked in with my fiancé to transfer service from her name to my account, they told me they weren't allowed to and that I'd have to call a 800 number and do it myself. Told me he was the manager for 11 years and his employees weren't allowed to do it for us.

There are phone repair shops local but you will have to pay them for their service I've been with Verizon for years and they won't help there customers they're only interested in selling new accounts
It depends on what you're specifically asking, the carriers effectively own the numbers, and their availability is based on the previous client they were assigned to, a waiting period (60 days usually) before the number is thrown back into the pool of available numbers. In short, you really should contact them directly, as there's too many variables for us to give you a definitive answer.
Call or go to a Verizon store. Always use the same charger that is meant for that phone. Did u try turning it off n recharging it couple hours.some times that will work.

You really need to call Verizon or go in to a flagship store. It happens, but you may have some settings they can help you with so you don't download over mobile data.. could be any number of reasons.
