Nice large reception area with comfortable chairs or at least as close to comfortable as a office chair can get. Reception staff pleasant, they acknowledge you when you come in. The wait time was less then five minutes. The back area tech/nurse was efficient and nice. She seemed to care about my visit and she made me feel very welcomed. A two minute wait and another came in to explain the next step in my visit and she gathered information on the purpose of my visit as well as explaining what would be happening to me on this visit, did some tests, applied eye drops and informed me that it would be a 5 to 10 minute wait before the doctor could see me (giving time for the numbing and dilation drops to work). The doctor arrived on schedule, he was very cordial and explained why he was doing the exam and possible outcomes. I left there with a much better understanding of what I needed done and a pre-op appointment. Compared to the last couple of cataract surgeons I've gone to about this, Dr Weiser was the only one who explained the procedure in detail and explained the difference in lenses and didn't try to persuade me into getting an expensive lens that I didn't need whereas Dr. Trespalacios (Tres Palacios vision group) was very aggressive about me getting the very expensive 'diamond package' lens that I didn't need. It's nice to find an honest doctor that isn't out to ruin your health in order to make more money. I truly like and trust Dr. Weiser and am looking forward to having him do my eye surgery.
