Very pleasant hike. Other than it being right next to the highways. Which was quite loud at some points.

Excellent 8 mile route of trails through woods by the weather station in the old, closed campground. A combination of dirt, rocky, and fallen leaves with both flat and some good moderate slopes. Winds back and forth among the abandoned camp sites, tables, grills, and block bathrooms. Bikes, hiking, and dog walkers co exist on these trails.

A few spider webs to go through early on a Wednesday morning, but the second time around was amazing and fast. Great place to get some quick biking in! Fun workout. Trail start where the stairs are is off the lake up the hill.
