I apologize for taking so long to say THANK YOU to Stone Brother's Funeral Home in Ft Pierce, FL for the excellent service given to Elsie Frederick Salter. When my mother took her last breath, I felt as if I couldn't breathe and my vision was blurry from the tears. It was very late at night when my Mama's body was picked up from hospice. Upon their arrival, their professionalism, meticulously care and heartfelt consideration, was like a breath of fresh air. I knew she was in good care because of our long family history, but there was so much more to us as a customer and them as a business while I navigated through this valley of brokenness. My Mom was treated like a queen and my family like royalty. Even when I stuttered through my tears, each staff member was patient, kind and compassionate. The day came to see Mama for the first time after hospice, she was exceptionally beautiful, she looked as if she was smiling as she slept. Stone Brother's did an amazing job! I appreciate Stone's Brother's Funeral Home and the staff that answered EVERYONE of my early and late phone calls, and easily making last minute request with no hiccups. The family of Elsie Frederick Salter, known to so many as "Mama Elsie", we each and all of us say THANK YOU.

2018 - My mother had been sick so long and these people made her look like she didn’t have a care in the world. 2022 My Daddy lost so much weight we thought about cremation. Stone did it again. These people just don’t know what they did for us. My grandfather used to talk about this place now I know why. Simply the best, I wouldn’t consider anywhere else . I deleted this review a while ago because I was so embarrassed to have gone through this. However, I am adding it back. This situation went on for additional months until we finally got the headstone installed almost 1 year after the original order. This is after constant efforts to reach Stone Brothers after being ignored and given multiple excuses. The headstone was missing a feature that I paid a lot of money to have as an add on. I cannot recommend this company. Original Post: Whenever a company advertises that they offer a service, they should be able to provide that service to the customer. If a company falls exceedingly short of that service, the consumer has the right to warn other customers. I have been waiting on Stone Brothers to have my mother's headstone installed for going on 6 months. I was told it would be installed in November, but it is still not installed as of today's date (12/2019). The worst part about it is that they do not return my phone calls or emails regarding this issue. I paid them in full to have it installed and I feel like I am being scammed. The only thing I want is answers. I don't understand how a company can do this to customers who are going through the worst times in their lives. Please learn from my mistake and do not choose Stone Brothers.
