I I am giving 3 stars because of Deb Scarfo. I would give her 5 stars alone. It is really disappointing to have professionals treat you in such a demeaning way when you are already going through a difficult time. How you could be comfortable speaking down to someone, cussing, and having an ugly attitude but especially on your job when you should have a professional demeanor. Two nurses in particular were nasty and one stood out even worst than the other, Latoya. She talked so ugly to the patients. Violating HIPPA regulations by stating out loud why a patient needed a medicine that had nothing to do with their mental health. The reason I pointed that out because we could figure out someone else's meds if they are taking the same thing as you but this was for something else. If you don't have the fortitude, professional demeanor, or professional maturity to handle this population don't work in an environment such as this. We are already going through enough without being demeaned, disrespected, and disregarded. On another note, the good employees are going to rat on the bad ones so perhaps you should consider putting in audio and video to monitor not just the patients but the staff as well.

Omg worst place ever! Never get the right medication and never get it on a regular schedule. You don’t get treated like a human being. So much disrespect with the night staff! Meals are not enough to survive on. Example: one chicken nugget and fries. One strip of bacon with toast for breakfast. Only water and decaf coffee to drink. As a seizure patient bed has no rails and had a seizure and fell on floor and woke up with a bump on the head and made a report with nurse and they didn’t take it serious. Didn’t get a X-ray and there’s no if it was a concussion or not. It was never addressed. Some of the nurses had bad attitudes and treated you like a child cussing and yelling at you. Try to make a complaint by phone and no one will call you back and just avoid you. This place needs to be shut down. They are not helping anyone. If anything they treat you like a prisoner and a child. They don’t even deserve one star!

I was a patient here recently. Contrary to some of these other reviews, the staff and medical professionals here do care about patients. I had my days where I was angry and felt they didn’t care or understand but people need to remember they are human beings like all of us patients. They deal with the professional end of things as well as trying to meet the needs of many different patients. Due to my disorders I had days I made my own stay as well as their jobs more difficult but not once did any of the staff seem to hold it against me. If I needed someone to talk to they were there. If I had questions about my medication they helped. Several nurses and techs there were so kind and attentive. Allison who is a PA is wonderful as a person and as a medical professional. DEB is a doctor who changed my outlook on life living with PTSD and she was a godsend for me. To my knowledge she has many many years under her belt working with PTSD patients. I nearly cried feeling the relief of finally sitting across the table from some who I could actually feel understood me as a person. FINALLY! The facility itself is small and after awhile things can feel claustrophobic at least for me. There’s not enough board games and other activities to pass the “down time” so to speak. I’m going to look into donating some but even still, that’s one area I think the hospital needs to improve on. Night meds could be given earlier, I didn’t like getting my sleep med 15-30 minutes before lights out since some of us would like to go to sleep early but can’t without meds. The food is neither great nor terrible. They hand out plenty of snacks through the day and the phones are open to use most of the day which is better than other hospitals I’ve been to. To conclude I have had a few tough moments in there and in the end I was able to recover from them quickly because of the staff, how they don’t hold grudges and they take time to talk to you like a fellow human being. Big props to DEB!!! Excellent doctor. My biggest complaint is she doesn’t do outpatient. Also there are two male nurses and both are great. Thank you all for putting up with me and hopefully I never have to see any of you again! Lol

This is the worst place to send someone for mental health. They release people in the same state of mind they went in there in. The case workers don’t care have tell them how many times the person done been there this there job to know. They just don’t care period when you telling them what type of state of mind the person in only thing they can say the person is fine right know. The most worthless place for anyone to go at. Have no type of resources to help people to get better. They just don’t care period!!!!!
