All the desktops need to be properly updated.. there needs to be a real librarian.. Also they tried to deny me a 90 minute timeslot for a Basic Life support course..he straight up told me that I couldnt take that kind of test there. So I said, this is a life support class I need to work. Then he says..ok..Ill do it for you. 😳.

I visited the East St. Louis library today 9-22-21 and first off let me say they opened up late. I have been a resident of the city all my life. The lady who was there this morning had a nasty attitude. She was very disrespectful. I asked her if she was okay this morning because she was not pleasant at all. There was another guy on the computer using his cellphone and she said nothing to him. I was taking an assessment for a job and the lady came over yelling at me asking telling me to turn my phone down. I explained to her that I was not on my phone and that it was the computer. She kept yelling saying I was on my phone and I was not. Then I asked her if they had any headphones that I could use for the computer. She kept trying to tell me it was my phone she insisted that it was my phone. She just locked me out the computer. Some of the people that work in East st Louis just feel like they are privileged because of who they family are. It was no reason for this lady to be so rude and nasty. When I asked for the manager information they refused to give me information. This is why the city can not keep business because of these kind of people. They made no sense. This problem needs to be addressed ASAP. This is why people move out of the city. This lady was very disrespectful and who ever has her working here must not know that this women is like this or they dnt care. It was absolutely no reason for this lady to be this rude. She should be lucky that she has a job with everything going on right now because of COVID.
