We rented kayaks from A1A and had a great experience. All of the staff we talked to were helpful, and friendly. The kayak rental process was easy and well organized. The staff had the kayaks at a designated location for us to pick up, we received a key and instructions/Kayak location. We were able to be out late with the kayaks for biolumenesent night paddling in the Banana River. The return process was easy, great experience all around.

We rented two paddle boards and they delivered them to the water. We were suppose to be there at 11:00 and at 11:02 the person that delivered them Frank called and I said We are here I am looking at you. When we walked over to him he was not prepared he had paperwork but did not even have a pen had to go back to his truck then he comes back and says “Do you want me to put them in the water “ with an attitude. Even though this was the first time we had tried a paddle board I just did not even want to look at him. We put the paddle boards in the water and noticed one had a leash and one did not. I called and the lady said she would send him back. Frank brought another paddle board with a leash and complained the whole time . He was very rude. We have rented other equipment from a1a beach rental but today was very disappointing.

Easy rental process and good customer service. They have a good selection of surf boards to choose from for more experienced surfers.
