Cool place, great outdoor space right on the Mississippi River

I camped at the Perrot State Park late summer last year and was delighted to find a delicious walnut burger, a tap craft beer, and a guy playing and singing on stage outside next to the mighty Mississippi. Visited again recently and didn't care much for the music, ordered something that sounded interesting... eh... but service was friendly, and the setting was again beautiful. One wish is that the music bookings were done further out, so a person could plan ahead. The campground fills up way in advance for weekends. I know the hotel doesn't control that but maybe could work on the event listing thing. All in all, very happy that this little gem of a venue is hanging in there. From here out I'll stick with the walnut burger.

One of my favorite places to go when I'm in Wisconsin. The location is great, right by the river. Love to sit outside on the sprawling lawn, enjoy a brew, and listen to the live music.

Wonderful, authentic old style decor. Pictures of famous musicians who have played there line one wall of the bar. Staff is friendly and attentive. Upscale food, but also delicious and affordable burgers and sandwiches.
