Marsha and Heather were amazing at helping me get the 1 bedroom 1 bathroom. They were extremely responsive and helpful and it was a smooth pre-move in process.

Nothing legit about this place. The pictures on the website are photoshopped and look nothing like the inside. BED BUG INFESTATION.

so far, dealing with the staff has been relatively pleasant. i've had interactions with both marsha and heather and they seemed friendly and helpful to me. they and the new odin management have gone out of their way to make windcrest so much better than it was and it shows. i look forward to potentially moving here! update: the leasing process has been pretty smooth and the office staff have found us a place. i'll update on what it's like to move in! second update: so the move-in process was really smooth. the apartment itself is really nice and has nice new hardwood flooring and a huge walk-in closet, even tho it's a studio. the office staff were accommodating and fair. the keys to the building didn't work, so the friendly maintenance team made us new ones right there on the spot. our stove wasn't properly working upon move-in, and some minor things weren't working. they fixed everything but the stove and said they'd put in a new one the next morning first thing. the only frustrating thing- they didn't for two weeks. apparently in that time they had ordered a new one to be shipped but did not communicate that to us or the leasing office, but we do have that in and it works perfectly. the neighborhood has a mix of backgrounds and people and is overall pleasant. lots of people with dogs who enjoy the dog park. the kids love the new playground, but they can be destructive if unsupervised. they somehow pulled a sign out of the ground and left some trash there, but that's no direct fault of their own. i feel like a trash can and more parent supervision (maybe a bench?) would be the solution. like another review said, there's actually a concentration of drug dealers here and we've actually had some interesting run-ins with a few of them. i'm not really sure as to why management hasn't caught onto that. there are bugs, yes. it seems like some neighbors have roaches and they're trying to come in the bathroom. pest control comes biweekly to fend them off and i haven't noticed it much otherwise. it's very easy to submit rent payments and work orders using the rent café resident app, which can even do autopay and give you rent payment reminders. the red line (bus 2/20) bus stop on neil & edgebrook (going north and south) is conveniently placed at the end of the street. what's nice about windcrest is that it's on its own private loop, eliminating any non-resident/non-visitor traffic. yes, it's fairly close to the highway, but not close enough where it's constantly audible and there definitely isn't much overnight traffic. currently i can't hear much at all beyond the birds outside, so don't let that be a deterrent. overall, i am happy we ended up at windcrest. i will update more in time 🌷
