I am extremely upset with my experience at this particular location. First of all, I will start off by stating I am a business owner myself, so I understand the importance of customer service and providing each customer with an experience that encourages them to continuously return. Yesterday afternoon, I went inside of this location to acquire a couple of things for a DIY project, only to have my money checked by an employee who stated that my money was fake. I took the same money that he said was fake to the bank and they said there was nothing wrong with the money. They don’t know why he would state that it was fraudulent. Today I went into the same location again purchasing items I gave the same employee a few $20 bills to pay for my total only to have the money inspected again before I got to the front I watched him match it three Caucasian women’s money. If you do not see the prejudice in this situation that I don’t know what to tell you, I spoke with the manager about how I feel the level of discomfort any store and he was extremely nonchalant and dissmisve. I am extremely sad, and to know that in these present times with everything that we are facing people of color are unable to go inside of every day stores and be treated like an individual or shall I say like a person with no Melanin
