They tried to delete my comment!!! But I will not be silenced! My voice will be heard!! This is a PSA. Do not work for this company. You will not get trained. You will not be valued by the higher ups. You will be in a toxic work environment. This company only cares about making money and not its employees. They will not value your opinion on the residents. They will step over you when it comes to clinical work. They do not Protect staff. A few of the residents have attack staff and were rewarded with soda and pizza parties. Do not apply to be a therapist. They will walk over you, I was never trained in my position. I was there for two months before there was a director and then she was fired because the CEO has a problem with people of color. They hired an assistant clinical director that was friends with our COO. She was nothing but a Yes man for the CEO. They will say staff left them high and dry. But that is false the therapist love the residents but we’re being compromised ethically by the CEO that has no background in Therapy or Counseling. They never consulted with the therapist about the needs and treatment of the residents. Everything was about money to them. I wish someone would have told me not to work here before I applied. They told me I was not qualified enough for a hire pay due to being fresh out of grad school. They treat there staff like the gum of bottom of there shoe. The CEO would go around asking staff about other staff( people of color) and ask would you hired people that looked like that. It was a very stressful and toxic work environment from the hire up. They had time to fire staff while two kids had escaped off campus and did not help look for them. Residents were rewarded with sodas and king-size candy bars against therapist recommendations. You will not be valued, you will not be trained. Your caseload will be extremely high. They only care about getting there number up. They do not care about anything or anyone else that works with the residents daily. If you are a person of color just know that they will talk about the way you look, dressed and the way you speak. With out ever holding a conversation with you. The CEO may preconceive notion‘s about everyone of the clinical staff to the new assistant now clinical director before she even had a chance to me them. You will not be given a fair shot or a fair wage. Stay unlicensed while you work for them.

Th is place was awful. If you want to know why I had gone two times! My first time there I was beat up everyday and luckily when I had visit with my parents I told them everything that was happening . I pleaded for my parents to take me home they questioned themselves first, but my therapist was totally against it. So they finally took my out. The worst part was I was the youngest girl there in Phoenix. My second time there I was there for nine months. I was still beaten up from time to time. The staff put kids into holds which did nothing and when they were taken out.of them they would the exact same things. This is not what I CALL HELP. When something happens to a child and you send them here. Thinking they will I get help. Your Wrong! All this place did for me is teach me had habits and habits I picked up from other people. There are literally 6and 7 year olds here getting beat up because they can't do anything to stop it. The first time I was there I was 9years old. I know the feeling of being at these places. The staff sometimes do not do anything . Honestly A girl through a chair at me. I stood up for my self and there she started to beat me up by the time she was done they got up and put her in a hold. Believe me I am the kind.of girl that will stand up for anyone even if they are not my friend. The best staff there and people that would actually do something were most of the nurses. Coach romos Mrs BBC me Elizabeth Mrs brandy Mrs Kim Nurse Owens. This last and worst thing about this place. I was going through medical seizures and passing out because of stress and most of the staff didn't think it was real because "I have never been sick." I mean yes I faked it one time to stop a fight . But that was it. I HAVE ONE THING TO SAY TO YOU HERMITAGE HALL GET YOURSELF TOGETHER AND HELP THESE POOR KIDS! THIS IS NOT ABOUT MONEY! THIS IS ABOUT SAVING LIVES AND HELPING KIDS MOVE ON TO BE AN ADULT.!

If you care about your child, if you want actual help for them, then consult a therapist. Not a residential treatment facility. Institutions that promise total change within "troubled teens" do so through emotional abuse and the breaking down of students self confidence. This facility will cause more harm than good to the children in it. Listen to the stories of the survivors who have been speaking out. Do your research. And, by god, take action to help the children who are still there. Visit breakingcodesilence.org for more information on how these treatment centers facilitate abuse and how you can help.

This place is a cesspit. Zero stars out of five. The administration is inept. The parents are never included in the periodic assessment of the child. More times than not you have to hunt them down to get an update on your child. Any concerns or complaints get blown off and swept under the rug. One of the personnel here Dr. Bush is incompetent, inappropriate and unprofessional. She frequently oversteps herself and is focused on the indoctrination and grooming of children with mental concerns to fit her bias, rhetoric and ideological vanity. She is a coward who speaks through intermediaries and avoids contact with parents. This is not the place to send your child for help. Find someplace else.

Questions & Answers

Why is this place not shut down yet? Terrible facility and full of drama and selfish therapist. They don't listen to us nor do they care for the child's care. What is your true success rate? How many teens walk away helped?

Tbh you so dam right most of the therapist and staff really don't. Care about us and just want the money it did help me with my anger but that's about it. But there are some who do want to help and treat you like family. I would rate it a -100 but because of some staffs there i would say 3 stars

This place is terrible! The staff is extremely, rude. I live in Memphis, my son was a patient. He was attacked twice! When I called to find out the details the nurse hung up in my face!

I currently work there. I've been there for 6 years. And I enjoy working there because I make a difference on kids every single day. This is not a terrible place for your son. It has all the components of having a productive life outside of Hermitage on so I disagree but I respect your opinion.

My child is getting ready to go here and I have heard NOTHING but negative things Im scared to death for my son but I have no say the state is placing him I still have my rights but no say in placing him here

Jessica whenever you're sunrise at Hermitage Hall make sure he looks up for Ernesto Ramos I'll Point him in the right direction because I know of all the reviews that are false that a parent can receive online I've worked here for six years and I like working here because I get to make an impact on people

Do not send your kid there. My 8 year old finally got moved from there a few weeks ago after I raised alot of hell over her being abused by other kids and the staff letting it happen. A staff member even told my daughter that i didnt want to see her and didnt want her. I heard the several staff members cuss at the children on diffrent occasions.
