Damn good bbq and fixings!!!

First time, dining here and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly, treated us like family. I don’t understand the negative reviews, they seem nitpicky. The pork bbq was very good, tender, juicy with a good smoke flavor. Portions were generous. We had it with the coleslaw and the Memphis sweet sauce. Not a speck was left. The spicy waffle fries were not spicy and were mine and my sons favorite side. My wife enjoyed the onion rings, they had a thick batter and were very good. Between the regular and jalapeño hushpuppies, we liked the Jalapeño slightly better. The hushpuppies are huge. We tried the blackberry cobbler and the cherry. The blackberry was awesome. Cherry was lacking some cherries but still good. Next time we may try some of the pie slices and my wife will try the sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese.

We go to Big Al’s a lot, especially since the shutdowns because they never closed or required “accommodations.” American freedom through and through. Just wash your hands and dig into the amazing bbq that Big Al’s is famous for! Taco Tuesday- amazing!!!

The food just isn't good. I was looking forward to eating at this place, but it was a waste of my money. Very disappointing.
