Very large lot sizes - at least three times the size of any other campgrounds we've been to. We spent Friday through Thursday and had the camp to ourselves from Monday on. With the recent storms, a lot of trees fell in to the river, making our tubing trip a little more exciting. 😁 Can't say enough about the office lady. She was extremely nice and helpful. It will be our go to place for now.

Terrible, terrible, terrible tubing experience. Just went there June 12th, 2021. The river was not cleared properly at all, we couldn't even enjoy a relaxing day, we had to get out of the tubes every few min to navigate the trees and sticks that our tubes couldn't pass, 3 out of 8 tubes busted thus making what should have been a great afternoon on the river extremely negative as we treaded on foot the rocky river climbing over trees, branches and logs. Our bodies were bruised, beaten, bleeding and tired. We walked and swam about 90% of the entire river tube excursion. We were so disappointed. I can't imagine if I or anyone had brought their kids along it would have been pretty dangerous. At the end of the excursion I told the Owners of our experience they didn't much care, I told them it was unsafe to send anyone else out, they again didn't seem to care much what we had to say. I am or was a certified Life Guard at one point in my life and I was horrified of this experience. Please be aware of booking any kind of river cannoning, kayaking or tubing here. it is very unsafe.

We have a group of friends that come here every year. The owners are very helpful, friendly, and relaxed. They go above and beyond to make sure that each campsite has a great experience. The campsites are huge, overall flat, and offer shade and a pavilion with electrical outlets and new picnic tables(shown in pics). As far as the campground goes, we had no major issues. The bathroom generally runs out of paper towel into the evening, but I think that's because people are in there like it is a showering station using the paper towel as wash cloths... Which was frustrating because they could just use some quarters to take an actual shower instead of using an entire roll of paper towels!! Also, we tend to bring our own toilet paper because sometimes they don't fill it in time and it runs out, so it is helpful to have some on hand. Therefore, I recommend bringing both paper towels and toilet paper for your group (and quarters for showers... I believe $.25 gets you 3 minutes of water usage). The bathroom situation was my only complaint in the campground and that's not really the fault of the owners, moreso rude campers. We did a tubing trip, which was okay. The river was low and the trip ended up being more of an obstacle course as we tried to climb over many broken trees in the river. We had a similar experience last year, so I'm not sure if our group will end up tubing down the river again. The workers were helpful and brought our tubes back to our site for us, which was awesome so we didn't have to carry them all the way back. Last year I stayed in the cabin and that was a good experience as well. It was clean and had the essentials. There was an out house behind it but we walked to the regular bathroom since it wasn't too far. Overall, I would say it is the owners that really make this a great place to camp. They're basically available all the time and are always very accommodating. Our group ended up wanting to switch our tubing time and they were great about it. I do recommend bringing your own tube just in case they have a lot of tubers that day, to ensure you have one. I look forward to coming back. :) PS... Don't forget mosquito spray because you will be eaten alive if you do!

Questions & Answers

Where can i find your web site to check availability and pricing? I looked under your campground name, but no website. Checking on availability beginning of October weekend and renting a cabin.
